When you choose to mediate with Counter Family Mediation, you are choosing to resolve your conflict an efficient and  amicable way.

Without the added emotional and financial stress the cost of lawyers and court unequivocally take on families,  mediation is a positive alternative to resolving any conflict or separation.

With the help of a family mediator, couples are able to quickly and cost effectively, reach a settlement that they mutually decide is best for their family.

Family mediation is a voluntary process in which both parties agree to have a mediator, a neutral, third party facilitate a conversation to try and achieve a joint resolution. Mediation gives parties the power to agree on decisions together.

We can assist any of the following:

  • child support;

  • parenting plans;

  • parenting time schedules;

  • spousal support; and

  • division of assets and property

  • negotiating terms of Agreements (Cohabitation, Domestic, Martial)

A mediator can educate the parties on the law in the process and help parties understand what topics can be necessary to discuss and important to include in any type of agreement concerning their family.
